Libur Natal dan Tahun Baru, 23 Ribu Pengunjung Membanjiri TMII

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta was bustling with visitors during the Christmas holiday season in 2024 and New Year 2025. On today’s count alone, TMII welcomed 23,000 visitors by 4:00 PM. The numbers were expected to keep increasing as more visitors were en route via the Light Rail Transit (LRT) to the park. TMII spokesperson Novera Mayang shared that the park would remain open until 8:00 PM.

Holiday Festivities at TMII

• Visitor Attractions: Stuntman shows, art exhibitions, musical performances.

• Year-End Celebration: “Sorak Sorai Festival” on December 30, 31, and January 1 featuring artists like Tiara Andini, Project Pop, Kunto Aji, and Tipe X. The celebration would culminate in a fireworks display for the New Year.

• Ongoing Events: The Indonesia International Stuntman Show running until January 12 and the Pipilaka Calling art exhibition until January 31.

Managing the Influx

To accommodate the surge in visitors, TMII took several measures, including:

• Increasing the number of shuttle buses from the LRT station to TMII.

• Adding extra electric buses for internal transportation within the park.

• Collaborating with TransJakarta to provide additional buses.

Despite the crowd, TMII had a lineup of entertaining events and logistical support to ensure guests could enjoy the holiday season festivities safely.
